Combating the poaching crisis in Africa impacts those who are on the front line. Our two supported projects, namely Project Rhino and The Rhino Orphanage, are at the forefront of this war. Project Rhino is protecting the rhinos on reserves with their anti-poaching K9-Unit and a mounted horse patrol unit. The Rhino Orphanage deals with the aftermath of the poaching and take in orphaned rhino calves. They too need to protect their orphans and have their own resident anti-poaching team and dog unit. The team at Wild Africa Foundation are raising money to purchase them both night vision goggles to make them even more efficient when it comes to intercepting any poachers. By donating, you will not only be contributing to the prevention of poaching but also helping protect the victims, the orphaned rhinos.
